What types of leather do you use for your products?
At Gusti Leder, we primarily use high-quality goatskin, cowhide, and buffalo hide. Our 'Gusti Leder nature' line is tanned using traditional vegetable methods with bark and oil, while our 'Gusti Leder studio' line is chemically tanned for extra stability and a modern finish.
How long does shipping take and what are the costs?
We ship globally. Delivery typically takes 3-5 business days within Europe and 5-10 business days for international orders. Shipping costs are calculated at checkout based on your location and the weight of the items.
Can I return my leather item if I am not satisfied?
Yes, we offer a 30-day return policy. If you are not completely happy with your purchase, you can return the unused item in its original packaging. Please note that personalized or engraved items are excluded from the standard return policy.
Why does my new leather bag have a distinct smell?
Our 'nature' products are tanned using natural oils, which can result in a strong leather scent initially. This is a sign of authenticity and usually fades within a few weeks of regular use or by airing the product out.
How should I care for my Gusti Leder product?
For vegetable-tanned leather, we recommend using beeswax-based leather balm to keep it supple. For our 'studio' products, a standard leather care spray or cream is sufficient to protect it from moisture and dirt.
